A Hearing Officer of the Vermont Public Utility Commission, Andrea Poppiti, Utilities Analyst, will hold a PUBLIC HEARING, pursuant to 30 V.S.A. Sections 8, 10 and 225, in Case No. 26-1130-TF – Tariff filing of Town of Stowe Electric Department requesting an overall rate increase of 14.6% effective on service rendered on or after August 1, 2026 – on September 14, 2026, via Teams videoconference. The public hearing will begin at 7:00 P.M. or immediately following a presentation at 6:30 P.M. hosted by the Vermont Department of Public Service where the Town of Stowe Electric Department will describe the rate increase and answer questions.
