NOTICE: New online customer portal and billing system information
March 28, 2017
To our valued customers:
We are excited to announce that Stowe Electric Department will be implementing a new billing and online payment system in the beginning of April 2017.
Customers will still have the ability to view and pay their invoices with the due date of 4/5/2017 and 4/20/2017 on the current Invoice Cloud portal until April 28th. However, no new invoices will be uploaded into the Invoice Cloud portal after 4/1/2017. All customers will receive a paper bill in April with their new account number.
Effective 4/28/2017, customers will no longer have access to the Invoice Cloud payment portal, as all customer and payment information will be deleted.
Customers wishing to have the convenience of paying and viewing their invoices online will need to sign up for a new account on the new online portal. Initially, the new portal will only have the ability to make one time, same day payments and allow customers to select the option to receive paperless statements.
With the conversion to the new billing system, we have redesigned your bills and issued new account numbers.
You will need your new account number in order to create an account and/or pay your bills on the new portal.
Please take note: The current Auto Pay feature WILL NOT be transferred onto the new online portal. Customers currently signed up for the Auto Pay feature on Invoice Cloud will need to call our office at (802) 253-7215 with their payment information in order to continue on Auto Pay. Initially, Auto-Pay is only possible with a credit or debit card.
The Stowe Electric Department is always improving and exploring new ways to give our customers the most reliable and affordable electric service possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this new upgrade causes our customers and we appreciate your cooperation and patience during this transition period.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
